April Bowlby was born in Vallejo, California, and was later enrolled at Moorpark College where she pursued degree work in French, Marine Biology, as well as Ballet. As she grew older, she began modeling, however, she soon switched to acting. In 2005, she made her on-camera professional debut in a role as a guest in "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation".
